HSR enhanced has been present during HSR Info Day on 16 March 2019, introducing the project to prospective new students of Mechanical Engineering. For our integrated engineering approach, bringing together B.Sc./M.Sc. thesis students and project engineers from the ILT, we always look for motivated students to join our crew. Hence, we are happy that we could contribute to the future of HSR and of HSR enhanced.
The new rules for CYBATHLON 2020 demand the pilot to open the door at the "Ramp & Door" obstacle with a robotic system.
Raphael Schröder, member of Team HSR enhanced, has developed a solution for this challenge for his Master's thesis. By full software and hardware integration of a commercial off-the-shelf-robotic arm into our race wheelchair ZED evolution, he literally opened the door to solve the most difficult CYBATHLON obstacle. The team congratulates for his Diploma as Master of Science FHO in Engineering!

Team HSR enhanced has participated in the CYBATHLON Experience at the World Robot Summit exhibition in Tokyo. Each day from 17-21 October 2018 we gave two live demos climbing the new six-step stairs and introduced our race wheelchair «ZED evolution» for CYBATHLON 2020.
